Sarah - Family moment

After earning her Bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and her MBA from Suffolk University, she built a successful career in estate management, executive assistance, and event planning. She managed a local inn, worked in an office at Harvard University, and served as Director of a start-up nonprofit organization in Boston before becoming Executive Assistant to a prominent Boston philanthropist. In that role, she managed multiple properties across Boston, the North Shore, and around the country. Sarah eventually founded Cape Ann Property Services, where she has provided property management and home services to North Shore clients for years.

Sarah's public service...

began in 2006 when she was first elected to the Rockport Select Board, where she served for 18 years across six consecutive terms. She chaired the five-member board multiple times, leading it through some of Rockport's most important decisions.During her tenure, Sarah worked on critical infrastructure issues—she was on board when commuter rail service was restored to Cape Ann after a two-year hiatus. She participated in hundreds of town meetings, including special sessions that drew upwards of 750 residents to discuss pressing community issues. Her colleagues consistently reelected her, and she won competitive races against multiple challengers, demonstrating sustained community support for her leadership. When she chose not to seek reelection in 2024, Sarah reflected that she had always planned to step down when she felt the time was right and when Rockport was in a better place than when she started.

Beyond her Select Board service,

Sarah has been active across multiple community organizations. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Friends of Rockport Athletics and sits on the Board of Directors of the CCB Foundation. She previously served on the boards of the Sandy Bay Yacht Club and the Sandy Bay Sailing Program and Scholarship Fund. Sarah lives in Rockport with her husband Greg and their two sons, who attend the local school district. As a mother of school-age children, she understands firsthand the challenges facing Cape Ann families, from education funding to economic opportunity to maintaining the character of these historic coastal communities. Her decision to run for State Representative came after attending the funeral of Rep. Ann-Margaret Ferrante, where State Senator Bruce Tarr encouraged attendees to continue Ann-Margaret's legacy of service. Sarah filed papers to establish her candidate committee in December 2025, making clear her intention to fight for the fishing industry, jobs and economic development, education, and ensuring that the towns of Gloucester, Rockport, Essex, and Manchester-by-the-Sea have strong representation on Beacon Hill.
